Jeremy “J.G.” Serls was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. He currently resides in nearby Mechanicsburg, PA with his wife Amber and their four young kids. His life and career have moved him all over the world and country, but eventually home came calling and he and his family moved back to Pennsylvania. Jeremy got the idea to write “Bernie Gets Bullied” when his eldest child was born. He realized there wasn’t a true platform to teach kids about the dangers of bullying and the circumstances of not standing up. One of the underlying messages of the book is that anyone can be a victim of bullying and that you shouldn’t assume someone can’t be bullied. When he’s not promoting the messages of awareness, thoughtfulness and kindness, he can be found spending time with his family and friends, enjoying the lake and reading a good book.
